Beatle Notes

Who doesn't love the Beatles?

Rarely in the history of any medium, industry or practice is the first example of something also remembered by posterity as the greatest example of its kind.  To firmly stand in both the vanguard of innovation and the pinnaltium of achievement within the same field is rarified company.  Leonardo Di Vinci, Galileo, Newton, Walt Disney... and the Beatles.  There were many great 'bands' of the 20th century, but even with 4 additional decades of achievements, the Beatles’ contemporaries the Rolling Stones still have achieved only a fraction of the cultural impact as their Liverpool counterparts achieved in just seven and a half years.  The lasting effect of these four musicians extends far beyond popular music or art and their commercial success was crucial to the globalization of media markets at a time in which the world was becoming more connected,  Poinently timed, with wonderfully curious minds, these four working class Liverpudlians with an abundance of worldly riches and a knack for unfiltered honesty told us all that worldly pleasures weren't in fact the answers.  Although never providing specific answers to the ever complicated questions of the modern world, they strongly suggested such answers will always be found in the tenements of peace and love.

A life long Beatles fan myself, I've long wanted to craft a worthy tribute to their impact on the 20th century and beyond.  I rebuilt every aspect of the notes design, nothing was taken from Bank of England  copywritten material, and each aspect of the design is catered to the subject, with lyrics and visual aspects unique to each band member.
