Jerry Garcia
Jerry was a Bay Area legend and I grew up in the stadium the Dead called home, The Oakland Coliseum. I had the privilege of seeing Jerry perform in the summer of 1994, before his untimely death in 1995.
Personal author's note: This was the first commissioned piece I ever did. It was ordered by my Mother-in-law (whom I cherish), as a gift for my sister-in-law and her husband who are huge Deadheads (and whom I also cherish). When you create art for people you love, you'll be amazed at how well the work comes out.
