Second installment in my “Silver Age” series of faux-classic comic-book covers featuring the Tribune Building in the background. Second installment in my “Silver Age” series. Introduction of the Klan Kops, Sanjuro’s local adversaries as well as Nazi President 45 - America’s ultimate villain.
The background is based on a real location in downtown Oakland, however I sourced graffiti pieces from throughout Oakland - not all of them could be credited, but the wall features art by Berg, ICH, and Enor.
This piece takes place in “Tupac’s Alley” or “Brenda’s Alley” - the legendary filming location of the classic music video for Tupac’s single “Brenda’s Got a Baby.”
